The Brief has been created to be the foremost legal media outlet offering qualified legal professionals and PR a space for legal insight and commentary to land, with editorial control. ​​​

The internet and social media broke that monopoly, opening the door for anyone to publish. But with that freedom came fragmentation, audiences scattered, algorithms dictated reach, and visibility became harder to secure.​​
